Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actor from the United States. Her fame grew in the 70s, and early 80s through her continued roles in various television shows, where she was depicted as a glamourous actress. Fairchild was first noticed in her role on the CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. She starred in 1978 in the soap opera of the same name Dallas in the role of being the very first actor in history to play Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama). She co-starred on ABC's shortlived show, a primetime comedy Paper Dolls. Then, from 1985-1986 she played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild also appeared in the theatre, as well as in guest roles on television shows like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this show. She is also a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
